How do I start an event website? List the best event websites that have managed to achieve their success. It is very difficult for an event website developer to decide which platform you want, and plan on the kind of website you will need. Let's see which of these five websites is best and most relevant for an event to visit. Spend some time with all of these websites and check their functionality, design, and content. These websites are built from different ideas.

Eventbrite

This is where I decided to start because it contains more than 5 million recurring events. That's more than any other event website that you will find on the internet. You can see that they have invested $ $ $ $ in design and programming, which makes them one of the best websites available for an event. On this platform, you can easily create an event page within five minutes. There are a lot of features to add your ticket prices and even sell your tickets online. In addition to all these options, Eventbrite offers great publicity tools such as Google advertising and social media marketing tools from Facebook and Twitter. It also allows you to integrate your custom mobile application for iOS or Android devices, so you do not need to go through a third-party app with an events calendar pro. The only drawback of Eventbrite is that it charges a fee for each ticket sold, which can be a high percentage for your event tickets budget.

Which event website is the best?

There are many different types of websites that you can use to create an event. In this article, we will be looking at five of the most popular and well-known websites for creating events. We will look at their features, design, and content so that you can make a better decision about which one is right for your needs.

Let's take a look at each website in more detail so that you can decide which one is right for your next event! The first website we'll be looking at. This platform has been around since 2006 and it has grown into one of the biggest platforms available today with over 200 million tickets sold every year across 180 countries worldwide. It's also used by some big names such as Facebook, Spotify, Uber Eats, AirBnB, and even NASA!

Eventzilla

Eventzilla is another platform for planning any type of event and selling tickets online. One of the advantages of this website is to integrate a great number of payment methods through Stripe and PayPal systems so you have more options to get payment from your visitors. You can also offer discounts or special coupons for sharing Eventzilla with friends on social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, etc. However, one drawback is that many websites are offering this service free of charge, so you might want to choose an alternative that does not cost you anything if you do not have many events to manage.

Billetto

This is another great platform you can use to create and manage your event page in a few minutes with no need for coding or designing skills, so it's really useful for hosting smaller-scale events such as birthday parties. This website enables you to sell tickets online, send invitations through email, and encourage guests with an easy registration process. Billettos allows you to track the number of tickets sold by using a unique URL link that tracks clicks on links sent via social media. One drawback of this service is that they charge a fee on each ticket sold on their website, which could be expensive if over time more events are hosted.

Eventzilla offers two options: free plan and premium plan. For free, you can sell tickets and share events to social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, etc., but this is not customizable and your event page will look the same as others hosted on the Eventzilla platform. This way you can not install community events alongside with your event calendar of virtual events. Add event description and import events with pro version instead of google calendar. If you choose a premium plan (for € 49), you can design your event page by adding custom photos and a logo. Also, the price of tickets will be shown in euros instead of US dollars that are shown on free plans. This fee has an additional cost for each ticket sold, but there are no extra costs for registrations or payments; all fees are included in the price per ticket sold (the maximum amount for one sale is € 5). This feature of event tickets integrates your phone featured events just like a wordpress calendar plugin.

Eventbrite offers two options: basic plan (free) and pro plan. The basic plan is free with the possibility of creating an event page at no cost. However, this is not customizable and it has limited options, for example, you cannot sell tickets online or integrate social media marketing tools. If you are looking for more features that are available in premium plans, but at a cheaper price, you can choose the Eventbrite pro plan (€ 29 per month).

Upcoming

This is another great website to create your event pages quickly with zero design skills. You can also share events on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter. Upcoming allows you to add different levels of ticket pricing so not everyone pays the same amount to attend your event; this option provides more flexibility when designing different ticket prices because some visitors may prefer to pay less than others. Upcoming also offers an event management system with registration options, so if visitors want to opt for this service, they can provide you with their contact information at the time of registration through the website. Any calendar event can be added to an events list widget.

Billetto is free to use on its basic plan (for private events), but it charges a fee per ticket sold for business use. This may not be affordable if your budget is small because you are charged € 1 per ticket plus 2% of the ticket price plus € 0.50 transaction costs that will be deducted from each fee collected by Billetto. If your event does not have many registrations or if your goal is mainly to sell tickets online, this could be a good option for you because you can host up to three events per day and sell around 25 tickets per event.

Eventzilla charges a fee of € 0.59 for each ticket sold on its basic plan (free) and € 2.99 for each ticket sold on its pro plan (€ 49 per month). Its mobile app is where Eventzilla shines as it allows you to manage your events from anywhere, at any time by sharing information about the event through social networks or email invitations, which can boost attendance rates. This option also offers different payment options such as cash payments at the door, e-wallets like PayPal, and credit card transactions that are processed using Stripe and Braintree platforms.

Upcoming charges a fee of $ 3 per event if want to use this simple but elegant website to create your event pages. Event registration options are available on Upcoming, which makes it easy for visitors to register for your events without having to leave the platform. This option also allows you to automatically send email invitations if this is what you want, but keep in mind that all of these features will cost extra depending on the number of emails sent and registrations received.

Eventbrite charges a fee of $ 1 per ticket sold on its free plan (and of $ 20 per month for the pro plan), no matter how many tickets are sold in an event. If you sell more than 500 tickets per year, there are no transaction fees when using Eventbrite. A downside is that when setting up your event page, there may be a limited number of themes to choose from, which may not be convenient when you want to add a personalized touch.

In terms of design and functionality, SwingSeat is not different from other websites offering event management tools because it's pretty basic but easy to use. The main advantage of this option is that if your goal is mainly to manage registrations for events being held in educational institutions or sports arenas, it provides advanced tools for this purpose. Another good thing about SwingSeat is that it allows you to have a mobile app with options such as push notifications and social media sharing functionalities, so if your audience uses mobile devices throughout the day this may be a good option for you. Additionally, there are no set-up fees or monthly fees to pay if you use SwingSeat. Eventbrite charges a monthly fee of $ 20 for its pro plan (after the first month), but it is free if you want to manage registrations for events held in educational institutions or sports arenas.

Eventful demands a monthly fee of $ 15 and does not charge fees per ticket or registration, but there is no option to create free events and this platform requires an invitation code to create an event page. If your goal is mainly to promote your event on social networks, Eventful can be a good option because it encourages visitors to share information about the event with their friends as part of the entire process of registering for your event via this website.

Even charges €10 per month plus commissions of 5% to 15% depending on the event type and ticket price. Evensi allows you to create events in a few easy steps without any complications and offers different options such as managing registrations online, sending email invitations, and offering an app that can be downloaded by visitors so they can access information about your event from anywhere. Another good thing about Evensi is that it has many useful features such as payment calculators, Google maps integration, and an option for setting up an event countdown clock.

Event kit charges a monthly fee of $ 4 plus transaction fees ranging from 3% to 6%, which aren't deducted if you use EventKit Stripe or EventKit Braintree payment gateways (fees will vary according to the gateway chosen). This website allows you to create an event page with unlimited text boxes, links, web form fields, and images. The event kit also features a variety of options such as adding Facebook events to your website automatically, sending email invitations, managing registrations online, integrating with social networks (Facebook pages), offering three different types of payment gateways, and receiving recurring payments and automatic renewals.

Even charges a monthly fee of $ 25 plus fees ranging from 3.25% to 3.75% depending on the type of ticket purchased, which is not bad if we consider that this platform includes other useful features such as price ranges for different levels of tickets sold (for example $ 15-20 for general admission). Even also offers customizable designs and easy management tools such as an option to offer different types of tickets (general admission, advance sales, VIP, etc.) and the ability to add discounts based on time or number of attendees. Even also has a tab where visitors can buy tickets for other events hosted in the past so you can promote all your previous events with this feature.

Advance offers a free plan allowing you to create an unlimited number of pages and events. If your goal is mainly to promote events that require registration, Advance may be a good option because it helps you manage registrations online and allows visitors who sign up for your event(s) through this site to pay the mentioned fees using credit cards only (no PayPal).

WebXtra allows you to set up an event page free of charge but charges a 3.5% fee of the total amount paid by visitors who sign up for your event through this website, which you can avoid if you use their Braintree payment gateway because it charges a transaction fee of 2.9%.

Tickets purchase and refund policy

Eventful has a variety of purchase and refund policies according to the event type. For example, you can allow visitors to purchase tickets using different payment methods (credit cards, PayPal, etc.) or limit the number of attendees per registration by setting certain criteria related to age ranges or venue capacity. This website also allows you to charge for booking premium seating at live events in addition to charging fees if food/beverages are allowed inside an event's space or even canceling orders before they are processed.

Even offers customizable purchase and refund policies depending on each event's specific nature, which means that it may be possible to accept only credit card payments but not PayPal payments for one event while allowing both types of transactions in another even without specifying any particular reason. The platform also includes options that allow you to offer waitlists, gate sales, and pre-sales.

Advance features purchase policies based not only on the type of event but also on the status of the different tickets (premium or regular) and whether they can be purchased using a credit card or not. It's important to mention that Advance doesn't refund balances after an event has occurred to avoid selling overbooked tickets; instead, it charges a $ 2 fee per ticket for processing refunds except when done through PayPal (which charges 2% plus $ 0.3). Also, in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, Advance will automatically process refunds for free.

Tickets management policy

Eventful doesn't charge fees when managing tickets, so this website is an option if you want to use it exclusively for ticket management purposes. Keep in mind that some events hosted on Eventful require attendees' physical or electronic tickets before entering the venue or place where the event takes place. For example, some live music venues require printed paper tickets instead of an email with a digital entry code because they might consider these as coupons for free entrance.

Even offers a variety of ticket management policies according to the type of event hosted, which means that it's possible to allow visitors to print tickets from home or access them using their phones or another device through an email containing an entry code for one event while requiring attendees to show a printed paper version of the ticket before entering a different location for a completely different event. Also, Even allows you to transfer tickets from one user account to another and even announce waitlists so you can offer your guests extra options in case they have technical problems during registration or any other issue that prevents them from attending your events as planned.

Compelling event descriptions

Not only should your event descriptions be as detailed as possible, but they should also include compelling calls to action that allow attendees to share the event with their friends and contacts on social media. It's important to keep in mind that these messages convey a lot of information about your event and you need to ensure that they're positive messages because we tend not to like sharing bad news or disappointing messages through our social media profiles.

Even offers customizable templates for each different type of event hosted so you can create messages with the right tone based on the subject of your events (sports, art & culture, etc.), which can range from friendly messages such as "Help us celebrate Father's Day!" to more serious ones such as "Join us! We want justice for the Tamir Rice killing."

Notifications

If you choose to host your events on Eventful, be aware that this website will send e-mail notifications about upcoming events when they're published. These messages include all the information you enter in its corresponding section (e.g., event name, location), which means that it's possible to instruct them not to send any particular notification by entering an empty message in the corresponding field. For example, if I want to prevent Eventful from sending me notifications about art & culture events hosted here in Germany, I'd simply enter "I don't want emails about German events" or any other message of my choice in the "What's your message?" field; likewise, if I don't want to receive notifications about events hosted here in my city, I'd enter "I don't want emails about upcoming events in my city" or any other message of my choice in the same field.

Notifications can be sent to an unlimited number of email addresses and they're entirely customizable, which means that you can send them using HTML-based templates and even include images such as logos at their corresponding spots; Also, these messages allow subscribers to unsubscribe from the notifications service by clicking a link included at its end (if you check this setting).

Customizable social media integration

If subscribers share your event on Facebook or Twitter through Eventful's website, they'll see a preview that accurately represents what your event page looks like when shared with all the relevant information included.  Eventful will also use all of this information to create a customized preview that will automatically appear on your event page, which means that it'll include everything you want to share about your event (e.g., date, location, time).

It's important to mention that these previews are fully customizable and your subscribers can change or remove anything they don't want to include through their posts; plus, you can determine whether they should show images for each corresponding retweet by checking the corresponding box in the "Advanced Settings" section at the bottom of your screen after configuring them according to your preferences.

And last but not least. One-click RSVPs

Eventful allows users who visit an event page to register for the corresponding event with a single click (they call it "one-click RSVPs") and they also allow them to change their responses later on if needed.

Social media links

As you probably know, Eventful also provides a link to your event's page on all of the most popular social media networks so that users can follow it and receive notifications through these channels as well. And last but not least, Eventful will show an upcoming events widget with all the upcoming events hosted here in Germany on its main page; this widget will only show the details for three of them by default, but it can be customized according to your preferences (e.g., showing more or fewer events).

Eventful offers some great features that many people might find useful for hosting their events on its website. But keep in mind that if you use this website for hosting your events, you'll generally want to create messages whose tone is professional, informative, and inviting (not casual) so that your subscribers know how to behave when they attend the corresponding events.

FAQ section

Eventful also allows users to visit an FAQ section that has all the most common questions and their corresponding answers so that you can provide your subscribers with some valuable information before they attend your events.

And finally, Eventful's website is very simple and easy to use, which means that every person who wants to create an event here in Germany will find it enjoyable and intuitive. And on top of everything else, Eventful provides great customer service that you can contact directly through their website or social media profiles."

How does an event website help you earn online?

An event website is one of the best tools for showing your work to the world and attracting potential clients. Let's say you've just finished an animation, a game, or something similar. The first thing you'd want to do is share it with people who might be interested in what you've created; that way, they'll see your work, contact you about buying it (or hiring you), and eventually pay you for doing what you like.

Keeping this in mind, when releasing your next project, remember to configure an Eventful page to make it easier for others to find out about what you're offering online.

You should also include some valuable content at the beginning of its corresponding page (e.g., information about the project and its creator(s)), as well as a link to where they can find more information about it (e.g., by downloading it).

Then, configure an Eventful page for each upcoming project you release online so that others can stay up-to-date with them directly through your website or social media profiles/pages.

Tell me the best feature of a successful event listing website?

One of the best features about Eventful is its "one-click RSVPs" that allow users to register for your events with just one click.

This means that after launching their page, they'll only have to configure three things to start receiving registrations for their corresponding events: Add an image, title, and description.

How can event listings help you attract new customers?

An event listing website will attract new customers by helping them find upcoming events nearby or related to certain topics so that they can go see them live. For example, if you run a restaurant and want people who are looking online for nearby restaurants within 5km from their current location to know about your business as well, configure an Eventful page for it and add an image, title, and description.

Then, you only have to configure the following three things: Add an image, title, and description (of your restaurant's events).

This way, potential customers will see what you're offering them when they look online for nearby restaurants in the location where they currently are.

What is a website that hosts upcoming events?

An event website is one of the best tools for promoting your business or brand online by releasing a professional page through which users can find out about the latest updates regarding all of your upcoming projects or live events.

In other words, this type of website allows others to know about what you have prepared for them directly from their computers or mobile devices.

Why is it important to configure an event page on a website?

Configuring an event page on your website is important because it's one of the most effective ways for others to find out about your business or brand.

This involves adding just three short things: Adding an image, title, and description.
