It would probably work best when I am trying to pitch anything related to business, marketing, or possibly social media since people are so familiar with these concepts. I have trouble with design – even though I have friends who are good at this aspect of graphic designing, it can sometimes become costly. I have a design element on my About page that lets visitors sign up to receive the latest infographics from my blog. Still, it hasn't been as effective as I would hope – I think people are more interested in reading articles rather than getting them through infographics.

Once you have decided on what type of infographic you want to create, you should try and put yourself in your audience's shoes by asking yourself a few questions:

What is the purpose of this infographic? Who is the target audience? Who will be interested in it? Why should they care about this topic? Do they have any prior experience with it or knowledge on its basis?

If you can answer all of these questions successfully, you are on the right track. The rest is common sense because your infographic should be informative, easy to understand, clear, concise, and visually appealing for the best results.

In that case, it might be better to refrain from creating an infographic and rather write an article instead (unless it's something like "20 Interesting Facts You Might Not Know About [insert subject here]"). Canva is a great place to get started because there are already hundreds of layouts that you can use for free! You can easily create your designs by clicking on one of these templates or importing photos from your computer (which will let you add text, shapes, and other design elements). The layout options might be limited, but that's all up to your creativity and how far you want to go with it.

To import a photo, click on the image icon and select "From Computer."

Once you upload an image from your computer, it will show up in your project panel (along with all other design elements). From there, you can resize or change its orientation to fit whatever needs you might have. You can also add text boxes anywhere else in the design - this works exceptionally well if you add one over top of the picture because it will give the infographic a more professional feel. That's not all either because Canva gives users plenty of fonts to choose from and even has pre-set colour schemes that they can use! The only downside is that each font only provides a limited number of font weights.

People love visual content because they find it easier to grasp information this way. You can even consider an infographic a legitimate educational tool because visuals let you pass on the knowledge more efficiently!

Once you are satisfied with your design, you can download or share it directly on social media. That's right – Canva lets its users save their work and edit and change it whenever needed. And if that wasn't great enough already, there is no need for design skills since everything is drag-and-drop (so long as images are uploaded first).
