I have a background in the financial services and IT domain with overall 11 years of experience. I was working as a Business Data Analyst/Manager in my previous role in the Banking sector where my day-to-day work involved extracting & analyzing large amounts of data on a regular basis to generate dashboards and ad-hoc reports to provide insights to the business teams and the senior management. I mainly worked on transforming business requirements and goals into measurable data and reporting metrics. I specialize in creating dashboards to measure the KPIs and performances of business units and also their monitoring on a daily basis. Apart from providing analytical support to identify business opportunities and track performances, I was also responsible for preparing the quarter & fiscal year-end financial reports for the regulatory bodies and auditors. My work also involved understanding and collaborating with various departments and providing relevant data analysis to support the business strategies and goals. And, my analysis and insights have led to the successful implementation of multiple business and revenue optimization projects. In terms of technical tools, I am well versed with Excel, Power BI and SAP Business Objects. I have also worked with SQL and Python and used them for various projects. Recently, I have also started using Tableau to expand my Data Analysis skillsets and be more effective professionally. Throughout my career, I have worked both in a collaborative way as well as in a leadership role and have been able to maintain a healthy relationship with both the internal and external stakeholders. Overall I like working with data and converting them to actionable insights and I feel this opportunity is apt for me as I look to move forward in my career.
