Respected Sir/Madam, I'm writing to express my interest in the job position at Geolance, Toronto. I learned about the job opportunity through the LinkedIn and would like to apply for the Media Events Co-ordinator position. I've pursued Global Business Management Program, specialization in Event Management from Humber College. Simultaneously with my studies, I also did a co-op in a Costa Rica based NGO as an Events and Fundraising intern wherein I managed the fundraising page for an event, worked on production schedule, event agenda, risk management, budgeting, creating promotional materials for various event projects. During my bachelor's degree in India, I volunteered in college events and from there I developed my interest in events field. I was the Hospitality Head and managed the committee of 10-12 members and hosted VIP guests, celebrities, and participants, managed food and beverages, set up rooms etc. As I further studied in Event Management, I developed a keen interest in Corporate and Social Events which includes conferences, summits, convention, fundraising and gala events. I've acquired knowledge and abilities in this industry by volunteering at campus events and during my co-op. Strong organisational, leadership, interpersonal, and good communication skills will enable me to fulfil my responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. As someone who is really passionate about events, I would like to continue to develop and progress within your organisation while working with a positive attitude and a desire to learn and improve.
