Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to you in regards to the Radio Writer position at Geolance. I am a recent graduate of the Broadcast Journalism program at Seneca College and also a recent graduate from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities. I have learned how to research, write scripts and produce content for radio, television and print; whether it is for news, entertainment, press junkets, or pop culture. I also learned how to set up and conduct interviews in person and remotely through zoom. I think I can bring some fresh ideas to the Radio Writer position. My podcast, “In the Spotlight” touches on news, pop culture and has grown in terms of listeners. I enjoy researching, writing, and creating content that include a variety of topics. I am a team player, I thrive on pitching stories, have the ability to set up and conduct interviews and complete assignments on deadline. I also know how to use the focus storytelling method in audio pieces, I am also proficient in sound mixing and audio editing.
