I am an Irish qualified teacher hoping to travel to Canada with an IEC Visa in October. I have a POE letter, but unfortunately due to Covid-19 restrictions I need a job offer before entering the country. I am looking for the opportunity to work in Toronto and experience the multi-cultural society your beautiful city has to offer. I am very interested in the roles of Pastoral Care, Outreach and Widening Participation in education. I am particularly interested in the role of active and participatory pedagogies to ensure collaborative and facilitative learning across the curriculum. I would like to use CPD/TPL to expand my knowledge on Additional Educational Needs and Pastoral Care, especially during these uncertain times.
