I have extensive experience working in the non-profit sector, and a record of success in getting initiatives off the ground and flourishing. Most recently, I founded a human rights organization which is geared towards educating the general public on issues pertaining to the Middle East. To date, some of the experiences have included arranging online webinars for 100+ participants and events for various causes in which coordination and communication were essential to effectively bring together several organizations. Additionally, I have created various educational tools for the public to learn about critical issues occurring in the Middle East, and have received an immense amount of positive feedback. During the course of my education, I developed strong quantitative, qualitative skills, and analytical skills, and consistently met deadlines. Furthermore, during my time working for the organization Pratyek in New Delhi, I used large amounts of statistical information and identified issues in need of further research when it came to the Sustainable Development Goals and poverty occurring within the city, as well as various states across India. Here, I also taught children aged 4-18 English, mathematics, and child rights. In the last federal election, I ran as a candidate in the riding of Central Nova. While running in the election, I not only represented myself, but the political party that chose me to represent them. This vital political experience and exposure provided me with many leadership, interview, and communication skills. Furthermore, I advocated for policies I believe must be implemented if there is to be a just society. Here, I had to develop my own initiatives and provide hundreds of constituents with the knowledge as to how these policies would be brought forth, and essentially why they need to be.
