Ngọc Hân (Rebecca) Trần is an emerging, new-generation Vietnamese-Canadian female Writer. Her play “My Korean Canadian Friend" was developed at the Digital Toronto Fringe Festival (2021) where she won the “Digital New Play Contest”. Her writing is centred on creating characters that are reflective of our diverse and cultured communities, to explore socially relevant subjects and themes, and to encourage a meaningful dialogue between our communities. She is committed to creating narratives that will resonate within the Asian community by representing their culture, showcasing their rich history, and speaking authentically from their experience.
