Shay D is a media professional with over 40 years in various roles utilizing her skills of copywriting, research, public relations, branding, marketing and management. Meanwhile, providing content for periodicals, newsletters, national corporations, and not-for-profits. She held roles in sales, marketing and branding in the investment industry concurrently. In 2009 Great West Life awarded her the prestigious Management of Excellence. The award recognized her achievements in management, marketing, branding and sales. Biography She owns and operates thebuzzr media, thebuzzr podcasts, and WOBZ Music. The companies support independent artists of all genres, from around the globe. WOBZ Music (What’s Our Buzz?) began in 2020 as part of thebuzzr media. Under WOBZ Music, she is a creative A&R management consultant. Her work inspires and empowers artists to create business models that go global. On the creative side, Shay is a host for a syndicated radio show, a songwriter, and writer. She is an active curator for many indie platforms. Periodically, copywriter providing Top 40 music content for an NYC firm, among others. She is a Trekkie, a Yorkie enthusiast, and a novice Jamie Oliver want-to-be. She escapes it all to her home studio, which houses her vintage vinyl collection. Happiest with her family and fur babies.
