Brenden L. - 19733 Public Relations Practitioner from Toronto

Dear Hiring Manager I am writing to you today to apply for the Public Relations Practitioner position, I believe that this position would be an excellent next step in my career path. I am a recent graduate from Seneca’s Corporate Communication Public Relations post-graduate program and am seeking to utilize the skills that I have learned throughout the course to gain work experience and insight into the communication field on a practical level. Through my time at Seneca’s program, I have developed many communication and PR skills such as how to format and write articles, press releases, and managing events. During my time at Eventa Experiences and MyPalate I was able to take these skills and utilize them within the professional environment, creating content calendars, social media procuring and posting, and blog writing. At Eventa I utilized Hootsuite to assist in developing, scheduling, and measuring social media strategies of my own design. Through both my work experiences and my interests, I am always seeking to learn new things, having recently designed my own gaming blog through Wordpress and assisted in executing my first event which was an incredible experience. (XP Game Developer Summit 2022) Whether professionally or socially I try to be approachable and a reliable individual, regardless of if I know the individuals closely or am meeting them for the first time. I’m fascinated by many different hobbies, striving to learn and experience as much as I can whether it be landing a perfect grouping in archery or the calm when I’m out on the water. When things come together after spending days on constructing a YouTube video or adding the final detail to a model, the feeling of accomplishing something new is quite exhilarating. Regards, Brenden
