Daphne P. - 14233 User Experience Designer from Toronto

I am writing today to apply for the User Experience Designer. I was born and raised in Silicon Valley, California, and graduated from University of Waterloo in Canada for my bachelor’s degree as in Global Business and Digital Art. I also participated in studying aboard in the Queensland University of Technology for Animation. By studying in different counties, it opened my eyes to the world, and helped me learn UX/UI in a different way. I have 2 years UX/UI in hand on project experience when I was in University of Waterloo, Canada and I had two internships with two different companies. First internship was at Bookguru, where I was an app designer intern where I assisted in developing an app for collecting and organizing coupons members. I created various wireframes, journey maps and prototypes for this project I have experience in many applications such as Marvel, InVision, and Figma, and I would be eager to learn from others to further my experience. My second internship is called Digital Design Geek where I built a website in aiding incoming/current students in adjusting to university life. I was a Lead Designer for the website. I have experience in UX Research, and oversaw the project from its progressive stage to coding website in HTML and CSS Additionally, I work very well in teams, as I contribute ideas and work to each team as well as communicating well with other teammates I also work can independently if needed.
