Erik S. - 19592 Dialogue Writer from Ventura

Dear hiring professionals, For the past year, I have been writing podcast scripts for a company owned by Spotify. There is very little in these scripts that is not recorded by a voice actor, so writing dialogue has been a daily part of my life since beginning that position. I have become with the mundane details involved in creating material that can flow naturally from any actor. Before Parcast, I worked for a cable drama called Animal Kingdom for two seasons. During that time, I coordinated with producers and writers, sat in on creative meetings, and read scripts through multiple edits and reiterations. That experience taught me a great deal about the creative process. For about two years before working at Animal Kingdom, I took a variety of creative positions working on music videos and short films around Los Angeles. I took an active role in the filming process, working with artists and actors to improve their performances. During this time, I also wrote and co-directed two commercials. One of my first positions out of college was as an intern with Karen Forman Management. During that time I read and wrote coverage for many scripts, and examined them for roles that would fit our clients. I also provided notes for two scripts written by our clients. I believe that, due to the experience described above, I would be a natural fit for the position of Dialogue Writer at your company.
