I am tasked to prepare and present to the sales team and our customers research of current and seasonal market trends with respect to design, colour, and print direction. This is done with an understanding and perspective of our product categories, price points, and various brands. These ideas are then translated into design and art boards, mapped to represent a clear rendering of how the finished product will look. Timing for all projects is managed to ensure all deadlines are met for customer meetings, samples, and production against a launch calendar. Finished artwork, including embellishments as prints and embroidery, colour, scale, and repeats, with detailed spec packs and swatch requirements is prepared for factories. Packaging with detailed specs and line drawings is prepared including art for inserts, vinyl bags, and care labels, in compliance with care /content / language laws. Collaborate with production team to anticipate and resolve any production development issues. Follow up and inspect for approval lab dips, strike off, packaging and inserts, photography, bulk samples to ensure quality standards are met and samples match our spec pack.
