Hazem A. - 16057 Scientific Illustrator from Lahore

Hazem Asif is a multidisciplinary international book illustrator and graphic designer based in Lahore, Pakistan. Hazem is a graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts campus in Doha, Qatar with a BFA in Graphic Design (2016) and MFA in Design Studies (2018). In his personal art and design research practice, Hazem focuses on speculative design, world-building, and design fiction to create new possible futures with social and political relevance using design-inspired activism. Hazem has exhibited internationally and have worked in a wide range of markets, such as Publishing, Editorial, Film and Academia with international and local clients ranging from Google, Harper Collins, Zee5, Bloomsbury, Walker Books, The Lancet HIV, Al Jazeera Media Network, Macmillan Publishing, Doha Film Institute, Qatar Foundation, and Texas A&M University in Qatar. Additionally Hazem, has collaborated with artisans and designers in Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Morocco, Indonesia and Thailand and his work has been featured on BBC, Ary News, Express Tribune, Al-Jazeera , Arab News, The News, Dawn News, and Qatar Foundation.
