Rithika R. - 15979 Marketing Specialist - Advertising from Toronto

I am Rithika Ramesh, a passionate content marketer with 2+ years B2B product experience. I have a sharp eye for detail, love to design on Canva, have the ability to write technical content, and take initiative to help the society in whatever way possible. I am pursuing a Master of Marketing at Schulich School of Business, Toronto (class of '22). Currently, I work as a Marketing Assistant at an agency. I am seeking a Marketing Analyst/ Digital Marketing/ Social Media Marketing role after my Master's. I have hands-on experience in the marketing field since my undergrad days. I gained interest by initiating various marketing-related activities through IETE-VIT, a student-run technical chapter, and Becoming I Foundation, a youth-led NGO, that I was a part of throughout my college life. During my 3rd year of engineering, I landed a part-time job at a haircare start-up where I monetized my content marketing skills for the first time. That was my Eureka moment! After that, there was no turning back. Through campus placement, I landed a Business Development internship at an edtech startup where I upped my selling and persuasion skills. Post that, I started my first full-time job as an IT Product Marketer at ManageEngine (Zoho Corp.), where I worked on Microsoft's Active Directory technology. My biggest achievement is when I got to work with one of my favourite content creators- Dear Alyne. Alyne vlogs about issues that I resonate with such as feminism, veganism, woman empowerment, and mental wellness.
