I am a recent graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University. Leveraging my degree, I have utilized my unique skills in communications to articulate myself to a very high degree. My experience writing news articles spans from 2017 where I completed a co-op term at a local newspaper to the end of my university career, where I wrote weekly articles for an online magazine. This magazine is female-run, written for a college-aged female demographic and is centred around empowering women, which is vital in today’s society. Having the opportunity to write for this magazine, work with SEO, and research different topics that would engage this demographic made me realize the significance of media in everyday life. My recent work experience at First Canadian Title and PepsiCo combined with my educational experience have further enhanced my ability to balance tasks and meet short deadlines. My strong and professional communication skills helped me complete my daily tasks effectively, efficiently, and to the highest quality. I have developed a strong work ethic and disciplined routines which have enabled me to prioritize and effectively multitask assigned work to meet deadlines.
