I have a wealth of experience with freelance writing and personal creative writing, as well as experience with editing, technical writing, and copywriting. I'm passionate about storytelling, games, and particularly romance-focused games. I presently volunteer as a moderator for a game writing community and I've founded a group that provides editorial feedback to new authors. I would be thrilled to join the team as a contract writer with CMS. In my most recent freelance contract, I wrote a short novella for the multimedia entertainment studio, Weathered Sweater; my specific contract involved writing and editing a 30k+ word novella over the course of 6 weeks. I have also written over 10 original short stories in genres ranging from science fiction, to horror, to romance and slice-of-life. I've written games for workshops and small game jams, I volunteer as a moderator for two communities supporting creative writers in games, and I regularly organize critique sessions and provide editorial feedback to young writers working in games and genre fiction. Specifically, in the past few years, I have: * Plotted, drafted, edited, and am currently querying a 150k-word science fiction novel * Outlined, wrote, and edited 2 game scripts in under 48 hours * Organized regular critique sessions and provided creative and editorial feedback for over 30 works in genre fiction and games * Written and edited 10+ scripts for a games-based workshop to educate high schoolers about gender diversity * Researched, outlined, and wrote a script for a project to raise awareness about sexual health resources Stories in all their forms are a passion of mine!
