I am an experienced professional with 18+ years of rich work experience in various departments - Financial Planning and Analysis, Operational Excellence and IT Project Management. I have held many portfolios during my tenure including customer facing as well as Corporate roles. For the first 8 years of my career, I was in customer facing roles with technical, functional and project management roles with some of the major healthcare and insurance clients. For the later half of my career, I worked in Corporate roles enabling teams to deliver projects including business intelligence, data visualization, financial analysis and reporting. My strongholds are financial analysis, analytics, business intelligence and dashboarding and project management. I am well versed with the technology (languages, databases and business intelligence tools) needed to support my work. My previous projects in finance have been focussed on defining key performance indicators for business units across multiple dimensions - Sales, Margin, Employee, Customer, Compliance and delivery to help the organization sustain the exisiting business and strategize growth in new business. The exciting part of this project was to build a plan for an 18 billion dollar organization with the wholesome growth in all areas and coordinate with diverse departments - Sales, Human Resources, Delivery, Operations and client relationship. As part of this project, I also led the development of business performance management dashboard (an enhanced version of balanced scorecard) using Qliksense technology. I have rich experience in creating financial models for 25 Million + dollar deals for one of the business units which includes revenue and margin projections, resource demand, scenario building and risk analysis. As part of this project, I have also implemented CPQ tool (Configure, price and quote) for aurtomating pricing for the business unit. The project involved customizing the tool as per the organization's needs, integrating with Sales system and change management for the adoption of new tool with the Sales team. I have gained good experience in real estate financial analysis during my recent project to analyse the impact of work from home on real estate capacity planning. This included complex financial modeling and scenario analysis considering the uncertainty regarding the future of work and the expanse of the organization with offices and employees in more than 50 countries. I have managed accounts worth 2 M annual revenue in my capacity in customer facing roles. As a Project Manager for Corporate projects, i have managed projects worth 1M. I have managed a team of 40 at the peak including direct and indirect reportees. As people's manager, my responsibility was to define goals for the team, conduct quarterly appraisals, recommend deserving team members for promotion and provide improvement plan for underperforming candidates. I have worked in diverse platforms ranging from legacy mainframes based systems to the latest business intelligence technologies like Qlik and Power BI. I am also conversant with traditional 1 waterfall based project management as well as the latest agile / scrum based processes. Academically, I have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication. I enhanced my knowledge through diploma in Actuarial science from Society of Actuaries which enabled me to take a practical approach to many real world problems in advanced analytics and complex data analysis. I am also pursuing CFA designation to get more conversant with financial processes and have already cleared Level 2.
