Hazem A. - 15485 Scientific Illustrator from Lahore

I am a multidisciplinary international illustrator and graphic designer from Lahore, Pakistan specialising in children books, scientific magazines and editorial illustrations. I am a graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts campus in Doha, Qatar with a BFA in Graphic Design (2016) and MFA in Design Studies (2018). Through out my design career, I have exhibited internationally, have worked in a wide range of markets, such as Publishing, Editorial, Film and Academia with international and local clients ranging from Google, Harper Collins, Zee5, Walker Books, The Lancet HIV, Bloomsbury, Al Jazeera Media Network, Macmillan Publishing, Doha Film Institute, Qatar Foundation, and Texas A&M University in Qatar. Additionally, I have collaborated with artisans and designers in Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Morocco, Indonesia and Thailand and my work has been featured on popular local and international newspapers such as BBC, Ary News, Express Tribune, Al-Jazeera , Arab News, The News, Dawn News, and Qatar Foundation. I currently work as a Science Illustrator at Lahore University of Management Sciences, where some of my responsibilities include designing and art directing the biennial The Particle Magazine, visualising science and research based stories, creating scientific research illustrations, infographics, diagrams, social media posts, conference posters, logos for related research work and events and assisting the faculty in their design related projects as required.
