Carlena D. - 17241 Fashion Illustrator from Brampton

Carlena is a queer Canadian-Filipinx artist based in the Greater Toronto Area. With a BDES in Illustration at OCADU, postgraduate studies in Concept Art at GBC, and an affinity for fashion design, her artistic practice has become heavily focused on building pleasing visual solutions for narratives from the fictional to personal. One of her main goals is to express inclusivity by representing fellow minorities and the diversity of the world through accessible, disseminated media, most notably: printed works, textiles, and digital media for entertainment. Romantic colour palettes, flowing lines, bold shapes, photographic textures, and stencilling dominate her rendering style.
