As a university student, I worked 12 months of co-op working in treasury - 4 months at CAPREIT and 8 months at Algonquin Power and Utilities. In each role, I was an integral part of the MD&A, compiling and reviewing the data upon going public. Moreover, I have experience analyzing the ratings and upside/downside scenarios for S&P bonds over time as well as balancing bank reconciliations. I also had the opportunity to work as a Research Analyst for 5 months and worked with my client, Gardens Ottawa, to better assess the awareness and perception of gardening and garden tourism in Ottawa. In this role, I developed two surveys, each to a different demographic, and received 484 respondents. I then analyzed the data in excel, isolating some of the core findings, and presented them to the client. Two and a half years ago, I founded my own business, Scoops Supplements and brought a revolutionary concept to the sports supplement industry. Struggling to finish large tubs of protein powder, I utilized my personal struggles to form a startup that has served over 600 customers and has surpassed $50,000 in revenue since March 2020. I am currently still working on this project on the side, managing the social media and fulfilling all e-commerce orders.
