My name is Ana and I have recently arrived in Canada to study Business Insights and Analytics at Humber College, which is a post-secondary program focused on strategic approaches that involves business data and marketing. As a former strategic planner at Brazilian ad agencies, I am very interest in this opening. Firstly, even though you may notice that my most recent experience is related to customer and user experience, I have extensive background with strategic planning in ad agencies back in Brazil, dealing with both big brands and local companies. All my previous occupations involved a human approach and a keen eye for analysis and understanding human behavior. They also required conducting extensive research with different purposes in order to guide the decision-making process. I worked as a strategist for both online and offline projects, which included social media and e-commerce efforts to broaden reach, awareness and drive engagement. I was always actively collaborating with other agency teams, leading brainstorming sessions, managing the projects’ progress, reporting results and ensuring the quality of the tasks delivered. Also, I have been leading projects in many of my former positions, which helped me develop an autonomous and multitasking mindset and made me keen on dealing with fast-paced environments and projects with many moving parts.
