Maksym G. - 15982 Internal Audit Manager from Berlin

I gained my Internal Auditor experience in the biggest private company in Ukraine, which has huge corporate structure and manages a variety of assets in different industries: coal, oil&gas, power generation, renewables, electricity transition and distribution, trades. I started as a Junior Auditor and after obtaining sufficient experience I became an Internal Audit Manager. From this milestone I started internal audit groups and project management. To stay up-to-date I maintained necessary communication with stakeholders including Management and Supervisory Board. As a next stage of my career path I was delegated to the Company's trading subsidiary to deploy a separate internal audit function from the beginning. Before the layoff caused by war in Ukraine, I had built the function, built communication cannels, set main short-term and long-term goals, assessed necessary resources, approved plans and resources and had started further deployment.
