However, there are some themes created by amateur designers or even scammers trying to trick users into using stolen commercial themes under their name! How do I know if a theme is Free? Usually, it's hard to tell if an item is genuinely offered for free until you get inside. Thus, it is best to avoid anything labelled as Free Download where the terms and conditions are unclear. You can visit any of these websites for high-quality themes. Most of them have a gallery full of free and paid themes: ThemeForest, Elegant Themes, Mojo Themes, Woothemes, TemplateMonster, Templatic, WPZOOM, etc.
What is a premium WordPress theme? A premium WordPress theme is one that you purchase from a third-party website instead of downloading it from the official directory. In most cases, this does not mean anything wrong with those themes because many well-known companies sell their designs on their websites! However, some people prefer to buy from different sites to avoid being associated with commercial ventures or persons who make money with WordPress.
Are our premium themes any good?
That depends on who you ask! There are some genuinely unique designs made by professional designers and developers. However, some of those same people would tell you that many "premium" themes do not offer enough value for their prices. On the other hand, many free WordPress themes can rival or even beat the quality of paid ones anyway! So what is better: Premium themes or Free Themes? It's a matter of opinion as this largely depends on what you want from your theme and how much money you have to spend on it. Some bloggers prefer to stick with free WordPress Themes because they serve their purposes well enough, while others will spare no efforts to get the highest quality possible.
