Accounting Director responsibilities include:
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinating and supporting external audits
- Improving systems and procedures in the accounting department
- Supervising a team of accountants and providing mentorship

Accounting Director skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Director or similar role
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and MS Office
- Advanced Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with excellent data management abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
