Apartment Maintenance Man/woman

Apartment Maintenance Man/woman responsibilities include:

• Inspecting apartments and common areas for concerns and making repairs as necessary
• Addressing resident requests in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work done in the apartment complex
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis, such as changing air filters and checking smoke detectors
• Assist with move-in/move-out processes
• Keep apartments in good condition by performing various tasks such as painting, making repairs and conducting monthly inspections
• Inform residents of rules and regulations and provide them with information about the apartment complex
• Ensure that all common areas are clean and well-maintained
• Handle repairs and maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner

Apartment Maintenance Man/woman skills:

• Proven experience as an apartment maintenance man/woman or similar role
• Hands-on experience with basic repair and maintenance tools
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training will be a plus
