Apprentice Machinist responsibilities include:
- Filing, grinding and polishing surfaces to a fine finish
- Assembling parts using jigs or fixtures
- Making small batches of parts to customer specifications
- Performing regular maintenance on machines
The ideal candidate will have experience with measuring workpieces to mark out and cut, using hand tools and machinery. They will also be able to work independently and be detail-oriented. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a fast-growing company, this is your role!

Apprentice Machinist skills:
- Proven experience as a machinist or in a related role
- Experience with CNC machines (lathes and mills) is an asset but not required
- Excellent practical skills with the ability to use hand tools
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints
- Basic math skills including the ability to calculate speeds, feed rates and angles manually
- High attention to detail and accuracy
