Financial Institutions Examiner responsibilities include:
- Assessing the financial condition of banks, trust companies, and similar institutions
- Planning and conducting examinations to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls, compliance with regulations and laws, and overall soundness of operation
- Providing on-site supervision of problem institutions
- Recommending corrective action when necessary
- Reporting findings to senior management
- Conducting examinations of banks and non-bank financial institutions
- Identifying risk areas and making recommendations for improvement
- Writing reports detailing the findings of examinations
- Presenting findings to senior management

Financial Institutions Examiner skills:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, accounting or a related field is required
