Gas Main Fitter responsibilities include:
- Study blueprints and sketches to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
- Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
- Install plumbing systems in new construction and repair or replace defective parts in existing structures
- Use manual tools or power tools to cut, bend or grind metal pipes
- Assembling, installing and maintaining natural gas lines
- Reading blueprints to determine the location of pipes
- Connecting pipes with couplings and fittings
- Repairing leaks by welding or replacing broken sections of pipe
The ideal candidate will have experience with researching and identifying potential voters. They will also be able to work independently and be detail-oriented. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a fast-growing company, this is your role!

Gas Main Fitter skills:
- Proven experience as a gas main fitter
- Experience with reading blueprints and sketches
- Basic math skills
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Physical strength and stamina
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Detail-oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training will be a plus
