Geriatric Activities Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Planning and leading educational, recreational and social activities for seniors in long-term care facilities
- Assessing residents' individual interests and needs and tailoring activities accordingly
- Developing relationships with residents, their families and facility staff members
- Maintaining records of residents' participation in activities and monitoring their progress
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with facility policies
