Physics Department Electronics Technologist responsibilities include:
- Testing and troubleshooting prototypes
- Building and maintaining lab equipment
- Updating schematics and drawings
- Providing technical support to physics faculty and students
- Working with faculty and students in the Physics Department to develop and implement new electronics-based experiments and teaching apparatus
- Maintaining and repairing a variety of electronic equipment used in the department, including high-voltage power supplies, data acquisition systems, and lasers
- Designing and building custom electronics for specific research projects
