Tar Roofer responsibilities include:
- Inspecting the roof deck for rotting or other damage
- Making necessary repairs to the roof deck
- Installing tar paper or other vapor barrier
- Installing metal flashing around vents, chimneys and other potential water entry points
- Attaching new shingles or tiles to the roof deck
- Applying sealant or coating to finished roofs
The ideal candidate will have experience with removing old roofing material, such as shingles, felt paper and insulation. They will also be able to work independently and be detail-oriented. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a fast-growing company, this is your role!
